Hi,
Is there a way to find the EZ-keys MIDI grooves (or EZ-Drummer MIDI grooves etc.) back from a Pro-Tools tracks.
– example: in Pro Tools I see MIDI track names like EZKeys song-3 but in Ez-Keys I see for example Funk-Verse-Variation 1. etc.
Does anyone knows an answer here?
best… Jeroen
Hi,
dragging from the Browser directly to host should keep the nomenclature intact. Dragging from the Song Track will not. If you have MIDI on the Song Track, you can right click it and select ‘Show in Browser’.

If you’re trying to find MIDI that comes from EZdrummer 2 you can drag the MIDI to the Tap2Find box in EZdrummer 2. Later versions of Pro Tools doesn’t allow drag and drop from Pro Tools to other software (such as EZdrummer 2). You can in that case record arm the song track and play the MIDI from Pro Tools. In that way the MIDI will be recorded to EZdrummer’s song track. After that, drag the MIDI block to the Tap2Find drop zone and EZdrummer 2 will list similar sounding beats.
