I don’t quite know how to get this feedback to the Toontrack production team but here’s a request: When putting together future sets, try to sample drums in a more gradual pitch range. For example, I love the new Roots SDX but the snare drums are either tuned really high or really low. I know I can go in and re-tune them or grab one from another SDX (sampled in a different room) but there’s nothing like scrolling through and finding something usable right off the bat. That goes for cymbals too, they’re all about 20″ big. As for kicks, it would be nice to have some open and some damped on every SDX. I might sound like I’m complaining but really trying to give some useful feedback. I LOVE your product. It beats ’em all. Oh, one more thing: PLEASE figure out a way for us to use out AU, VST plugins within Superior Drummer – either that, or add a really nice plate reverb. Bussing out to my DAW is a drag. THANKS!
I too would love to see a nice plate reverb in Superior Drummer.
Also – and I know it’s crazy – but I love my Twisted Kit EZX and the Jazz EZX – would love to see comparable in the SDX libraries. and hell, why not an Electronic SDX too – that could be seriously fun. Lo-fi in 24-bit.

Jazz EZx and Roots SDx sample set are from the same recording so thats done and has a chamber reverb fader.
I am still looking for a really long pinged out raw snare(maybe unpopular for metal) kinda in the Twisted area.
edit> did i say Loooooooong
I did not know the Roots SDX was the same kit as the Jazz EZX. Man – I need a nice conversation table. Looks like I’ll have to cough up for the Roots.

Go 64 bit and have 4 -5 gig spare just for the kit ,it is rich. The Decca Tree LCR mics are so good, plus there are a few other delights in there.
