    Hi,

drag-and-drop from host directly to the EZkeys Song Track is not supported by all hosts. This may also differ from one host version to another, i.e. not something Toontrack can fix. You need to address the host manufacturer for supporting MIDI file d-n-d to plugin.

    Hi,

I tried EzKeys demo on Cubase 6.0.5… I hoped it worked, but unfortunately d&d from cubase to EzKeys didn’t work for me.  Anyone tried it on the EzKeys product version?
This has been a blocking factor for me.

    Thanks!

What I do is treat EZkeys as a virtual instrument.
I’ve done quite a bit just using EZkeys piano sound played by my midi in Ableton.
I’m not sure what you would gain by dropping your midi into the EZkeys midi player?

No, drag and drop from Cubase into any VSTi isn’t available. Cubase doesn’t allow it (at least not in the latest version of Cubase…maybe with Cubase 7) and it isn’t an EZKeys malfunction. For those host that allow that function, it works.

    Hi Scott,

Thank you for the reply.  I hope Cubase will support that soon…

Whitten, D&D from DAW host to EzKeys would let you to experiment another chord progression on your existing tracks, without a hustle.  Also, that would be an easy way to expand the favorite library (I haven’t tried though, as I’ve only used the demo version).

Even if you cannot drag directly from the host you can usually drag to
the file browser/finder and then from there into EZkeys. /Olof W
