Full Mixer View
The ability to view the entire mixer (as much as screen space would allow) without scrolling would greatly increase workflow… Perhaps as a pop-out window or separate plugin instance. Having to scroll the mixer within the plugin feels like a step back when I’ve got the screen space of a 30″ monitor.
Collapse Info Column
In mixer view it would be advantageous to be able to hide the left column of info, where it says: Channel Presets, FX Inserts, Bus Send, Bleed Control, etc.
Faster Loading Times of dfh Superior 1 Sounds
Loading times of SD2 and and SDX packs are amazingly fast, but the load times of legacy sounds are much slower than they were in dfh Superior v1.
Make Mono Outputs Available
When sending all channels to a host it would be helpful to do it with mono outs from the Superior mixer. The current implementation of having to hard pan each channel in Superior is not as elegant as an actual mono out would be, and it would be more intuitive offering greater control. The setting “MONO ALL CHANNELS” still displays stereo group outs and doesn’t come up as available mono sources in Logic Pro’s Buses. However, it would still be ideal to send ‘some’ of Superior’s faders as stereo outs, such as the Overheads and Room Mics, but at the same time be able to send a snare or kick as ‘true’ mono’.
Import dfh Superior 1 Drum Kits and Mapping
The ability to import dfh Superior 1 drum kit configurations and maps would be a HUGE benefit to users that have many custom user kits and maps from Superior 1. The thought of rebuilding every kit and remapping for SD2 is daunting, as easy as it is, it is still time consuming.
Thanks for considering implementing these features into what is already an outstanding composing and production tool.
