Hi guys,
I just bought EZD 2. Fantastic upgrade price, so thanks for that. The product looks very slick; I bought it just for the MIDI ‘editor’ part, so well done to the team for that.
I’m only seeing one of my EZXs in the library drop-down, Metal!. The other two I have installed, Metalheadz and Metal Machine, aren’t showing up.
One possible cause; after installing EZD2 as a 64-bit plug-in, Cubase (5) couldn’t detect it, and was wigging out when scanning the directory I’d installed the dll to. I installed the 32-bit version and suddenly Cubase picks it up fine. I may have had similar problems with some of the EZXs in the past, I don’t remember. But perhaps the EZD 2 VST can only find instances of EZXs installed in the same ‘-bit version’?
S2 doesn’t appear to have this problem, as I’ve always been accessing all of my libraries with that.
EZX libraries are neither 32-bit or 64-bit. They are just sounds and MIDI.
If you are having difficulty, can you open EZD2 in the standalone and confirm that all EZXs are present? What version number shows in the bottom right corner of the standalone EZD2?
When you load the the 32-bit version in Cubase, what version number shows in the bottom right corner of the EZD2 interface?

Hmm, my reply seems to have disappeared. I said something like:
Yeah, silly me. For some reason I expected a program installation, but, you’re right, they’re just audio files and MIDI.
All versions of EZD2 (I now have a 32-bit and 64-bit standalone version, as well as the 32-bit VST plugin) show the same software version (2.0.0), and all have access to the same libraries.
