Sorry for the complete noob question, but can anyone explain the difference? I want to just use EZDrummer 2 to create drum tracks for Garageband. Not sure the difference or which one would suit my needs better. Thanks!

MIDI packs are just MIDI files used to create drum tracks. EZXs have MIDI drum files in addition to drum kit sounds.
The MIDI files are used with the EZD 2 plugin to trigger the drum samples. EZXs contain both MIDI and drum samples. MIDI packs are just MIDI.
