    No. The Vintage Rock EZX is taken from the sample session of The C&V SDX sampled by Peter Henderson at 2 Khz Studios and the Vintage library from EZD2 was sampled at British Grove Studio by Chuck Ainlay.

    Thanks Scott,
    Sorry I should have been more clear. I didn’t mean literally the same. That much info I’ve already obtained. They’re both 60s Ludwig kits.
    I guess I was trolling for a little more nuance. Does one do the vintage thing better in anyone’s humble opinion.
    Thanks!

    Better? Which is better…chocolate or vanilla? Fender or Gibson?

    I don’t think there is a better…Just different.

    Thanks again,
    I guess I’m still not being clear.
    What I’m really asking is;
    Since I have ez2 already would it be worth it (I know it’s subjective) to basically buy the same vibe, in other words does the ezx offer anything beyond the kit in ez2 like from someone who’s really knowledgeable about that particular era, that justifies the extra expenditure.
    I should have started with that three posts ago!

    EZXs come with a MIDI library also so it isn’t just the kits. To me, the kits sound very different also.
