EZX Metal Machine: more expensive on Toontrack site ? (found at 29€ everywhere else)

Hello,
I just upgraded to EZDrummer2, and bought Rock! expansion. Very happy.
Now I think the expansion I really need is Metal Machine. I was about to buy it from Toontrack site, where it is listed as “Sale!” at 41 instead of 69.
The thing is, many other sites sell it now for 29€. Is there a catch somewhere? These sites are serious sites (Thomann or Woodbrass, for instance),
so I am wondering…
I would really prefer order directly from Toontrack… but why pay more ? 😉

The Toontrack webshop never undercuts its dealers. That’s why you see lower prices at other retailers.

I was wondering if in fact there was a difference, as if I buy from the other shops, the 29 euros version is a boxed version, here it would be a “download” version, I don’t know if the license would be exactly the same?
If yes then I guess I can get the boxed version (with the added bonus that it is always cool to have a physical box :))

There is no difference. Some products are download only products. Some offer a boxed or download version. Some are boxed only. Personally, I’d love to have only download products. Saves wasted paper and is better for the environment. The boxed products (Toontrack and other software manufacturers) I have are just taking up space in my studio and are useless to me.
