EZ Drummer Program and updates (Ver. 1.3.2 / 1.4.0) has always been correctly installed (ez drummer.dll) to “CProgramsVST” Folder, and my Ableton Live Intro DOES Recognize it, But Cocktail install always goes to “CProgramsToontrack” with NO .dll installed in “VST” Folder for Cocktail, and installer does not offer a choice to re-direct install location folder, And in the “Installed Programs and Features” of Win 7, EZ Drummer icon is in color, and EZ Cocktail icon is grayed out…Am I Doing something wrong,or missing a step? (Like run as admin? or authorize plug in or something?
The Cocktail EZX doesn’t install a .dll. It’s an expansion pack only, not a separate program. When the installer is run, it should automatically seek and find where your EZdrummer sound library was installed and install there. There shouldn’t be a way to tell it where to install because all libraries need to install to the ‘EZ Home’ location for all libraries.
Can you post a screen pic of your ‘grayed out icon’?

Thanks Scott!!…All I had to do was look in “GROOVES” area of EZ Drummer GUI and there is “Cocktail”!!…I Was making things real complicated for myself….As soon as I saw your reply about Expansion Pack, I realized That I had to open EZ Drummer First..Not too sure if Cocktail Install Instructions clearly point out how/where to find/operate Expansions once they are installed?..But Thanks,All is well now here!
