Hi,
I’ve recently just bought EZ Bass and Easy Drummer 2. I’ve been editing midi for years, but it is time consuming, so I’m thinking about buying a few midi packs, just to save time in making decent grooves.
My question is: If I buy, for instance, the Americana Midi pack, (which is included in the Americana EZX), and I don’t have Americana EZX, which sounds are played back in the groove by EZ Drummer 2? Are they random intrument specific samples chosen from my other libraries, or do I have to/can I, assign the samples myself? Or are the relevant samples included within the Midi pack?
Many thanks.
Kev
The drum MIDI packs are optimized for 1 kick, 1 snare, 2 toms, 1 floor tom, 2 crash cymbals, 1 ride cymbal. Any sound library with those kit pieces will play back as expected. If you choose a sound library with more kit piece you can always edit in your DAW if you want specific kit pieces triggered.

Thank you Scott.
I was worried about about gaps in the midi grooves if I didn’t have the “right samples” in my existing libraries.
That’s awesome.
Thanks again.
