Will EZMix3 (now or eventually) have automatic loudness matching of input and output signal, and across preset chains? I hate that in EZMix2 each preset makes the signal louder (and each to a different extent) so you can’t easily do fair A/B comparisons without manually adjusting each one. It’s hard to assess a preset or chain without being fooled by the ‘louder is better’ perception of your brain.
Also, EZMix2 doesn’t really do anything to make your mixes more robust and translatable on different devices/environments. For instance, you might love what a ‘deep kick drum’ preset does in your monitors/headphones in your room, but find out later that it is too overbearing in your car or other devices. Does EZMix3 have any new features which address this, to help us to get better tonal balance and more robust translation across devices/environments?
Thanks.
EDIT: Someone can still answer these questions if they wish, but I got the upgrade anyway. First impression is that Version3 is great. Well done Toontrack!
