EZMIX2 Using effects as stereo or mono

Hi,
I have Logic Pro 9 and Cubase 7.5. I tend to use Cubase more as I am more familiar with it.
I recently downloaded some excellent Groove 3 tutorials which has brought me to asking this question.
In Logic I can select EZMIX as a stereo or mono insert as listed. In Cubase EZMIX is not listed as a stereo or mono option. Is this right or am I missing something? How do I use EZMIX as mono and then stereo if I want on a track using Cubase? Hope this makes sense.
