EZMIX ID’s not matching.

    i did.. :) I hate to beat a dead horse but I know exactly what your saying. I just took the green authorisation code and copied it into the green authorisation box on the standalone ezmix 2.. it says “wrong authorization code”

    the ez mix serial does not match with the ez mix serial on the site.. they are two different numbers… mine starts with a r2rx-.. the one on the site looks normal ezm2- those two numbers from my stand alone to the online are two distinctively different serial numbers

    u know now that i think about it.. when installing ezmix2 it didn’t even ask me for a serial?

    Can you change the serial number in the box to that on your account (EZM2-CET2-WZVR-AGXD-XXXX)?

    no its a prewritten box. it doesn’t allow you to change it. Its not an option, and on offline it has the same thing

    i looked just now on the offline and it doesn’t ask for the serial.. it just asks for authorization. the preset pack offline doesn’t allow you to change the serial.. if the serial is right.. the authorization should work i would imagine.

    appreciate the help btw. I installed it twice to try and fix it and neither time did it prompt me to enter a serial.

    I’ve never heard of such a thing happening. I’ll have to forward this to the dudes in Sweden as I’m out of ideas.

    oh man.. well.. is there any way of doing a deep clean on the program? I guess i’ll have to wait to hear back from your guy.

    I don’t know. Toontrack needs to figure out what’s wrong first. I’m also going to be offline most of tomorrow working my full time gig. I’ll let them know to reply here directly.

    Ok.

    ‘The offline authorization dialog for the EZmix pack does not show any computer ID. It shows the serial number of your authorized EZmix 2. If that is not the correct serial that you own, you should contact support so they can send you a tool that lets you remove the EZmix 2 authorization from your computer so that you can re-authorize EZmix 2 with the correct serial. Only after that you will be able to authorize the pack.’

    Man I am having this same damn problem right now…2 different serial numbers!!!
