Yesterday I pulled the trigger on EZmix2 + 6card bundle, mainly because I really like the quality and flexibility of EZdrummer2.
Tried the Bass toolbox, Big Rock guitars and Amps packs and I’m back to square 1 where I’m deciding on decent software to buy for recording guitars as I’m again stuck with FL Studio Hardcore plugin which does less damage at the moment as it’s way more flexible.
There’s also big chance that I’m doing something wrong (eternal student ) and there is a way to create a chain with pedals->head->cabinet etc, or tweak the sound a bit more? as I find majority of the “ready to record” presets bit average and volume levels varying a lot between presets.
The bass sounds are better but hey that’s bass, always sounds good to my ear
As for mixing/mastering this will do the job so not really wasted money tbh, just could have gotten different packs instead of the 3 mentioned above
…I suppose different strokes for different folks
