EZMIX 2.1.4 and Reaper Unable to get Guitar Signal on Mac

I downloaded EZMIX last week and haven’t been successful in getting the software to detect my guitar signal as stand alone or through Reaper. However, I am able to record voice no problem. I’m sure its a setting issue I am overlooking. I am brand new to the world of recording so its possible its operator error. I am currently running the software on my iMac Mojave software.
