    Hi,

there is currently a (quite unnoticeable) progress dialog in the top bar, right next to the Show Web Shop MIDI button when you use ‘Add Linked Folder’ or ‘Sync File Changes’. While this is being done you cannot add new files to the User MIDI folder, you have to wait until it is done.
We will be making improvements to this in future updates so it becomes more obvious that the Grooves Tab is busy while syncing/adding folders.

Just in case you missed it: If you already went through the process of adding EZbass folder using the ‘Add linked folder’ option, you can always right click that folder in the folder browser to the left in the Grooves Tab and select ‘Sync File Changes’ instead of having to go through the ‘Add linked folder’ process every time.

Hey thanks for the prompt reply.

So I went back and tried again after reading your message. I did notice the dialogue showing the progress of the files being synced but after it was finished, I still couldn’t drag any files into my user midi folder. I can only drag them in after un-syncing from all added folders.

Seems like it could be a bug.

I could send you a video of the problem if that’s of any use.

    Thanks again for your help.

That does sound like a bug, I couldn’t reproduce myself so please provide all information you can, a video would be most helpful.

I’ve made a video of the issue I’m having with Ezkeys 2 syncing up with Ezbass’s folder.

There’s now a new issue that i think may be related with Ezbass’s groove tab no longer showing results.

I think the two are related and they’re both covered in the video link below.

    my computer specs are:

    windows 10, 32 gigs of RAM, AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-Core Processor 3.70 GHz, 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Here’s the link to the video: https://youtu.be/eZiD1T5PN-U

    Thanks for your help

Thanks for helping out, I can reproduce the bug here as well. The system gets confused by the existence of 2 different User MIDI folders, I will create a bug report and get this fixed for future versions.

Meanwhile, you can use Add linked folder to the parent “Ezbass” folder instead of the actual “User MIDI” and that will fix the problem for you (not perfect but at least your EZkeys2 User MIDI folder is writable again)
