I have EZDrummer2, installed the driver for it on my laptop, but in the Midi device list, it shows 3 different kits, all DTX700 but they’re numbered 1, 2, 3 so I’m wondering if there’s a difference or if it matters which one I choose? Or do I click all three?
Also, when I hit my drums, it shows that I’m hitting them, but I’m still getting the DTX drum sounds and not EZdrummer ones (That are coming from my laptop speakers when I use the mouse to click on each drum).
So my question is do I maybe have it hooked up wrong? I have the Midi cable going from my module to the laptop but what other cable do I need to have to hear the EZ drummer sound? Or is there maybe a setting in my module that I have to turn on to bypass the module sound so I can just get the EZ drummer sound? I also have a drum amp that I like to use but I’m having the same issue. The DTX sounds are coming through it when I hit the drum pads, but when I use the mouse to click on the pads in the software, those sounds will only come through the laptop speakers.
I hope this makes sense cuz I’m totally lost. Thanks in advance!
