in all of the Alt-Rock EZX, Pop/Rock EZX, Big Rock Drums EZX, Drumkit from Hell EZX, Traditional Country EZX, The Classic EZX, Seventies Rock EZX, Rock! EZX, Progressive EZX, Post-Rock EZX, Metalheads EZX, Metal! EZX, Metal Machine EZX and Made of Metal EZX libraries there are presets that allow for separate output routing for the Toms.

    Hi John,
Thanks for your reply. Great to hear that all of those kits have the toms separated individually on their own tracks in the DAW. Looking forward to buying my expansion kit.

    Hi John,

I had a quick question after checking out the kits on the Toontrack site. I have narrowed the choices to Progressive Rock, Drumkit from hell, Metal, Made of Metal and Metal Machine.
    1. When I buy an EZX kit, am I able to switch parts of other kits into the new one? For example, using a snare from the default kit in the Drumkit from hell kit. Are these fully interchangeable across kits within the same drum and cymbal type? So effectively, by buying new expansions, we increase the number of drums available for each drum type.

    2. The progressive rock kit doesn’t seem to have split toms in the video exmaple for the mixer. Could you confirm if they are split for this pack please – how is this split affected by the presets as you mentioned that some presets allow splits.

    Thanks again,
    MillGroove

1; Yes in EZDrummer 2 you can replace a snare with a snare from another EZX, tom…. whatever.
2; Progressive: Original Mix preset has the rack toms and floor toms separated out, I have snapped the mixer for you. Not all presets have them as separate instruments. I would say that goes for any of the EZXs.
