Hi All,
Love EZDrummer 2 but wanted to have a better way of adding hits to a pattern, or in creating one, than using the mouse.
So, I picked up a New/Old Stock Korg NanoPad. I had seem some YouTube Videos of someone using the NanoPad with EZDrummer and it seemed to work fine.
BTW, I am running Windows 10.
When connecting the NanoPad, Windows 10 did not recognize it and therefore EZDrummer did not see it either. I then downloaded the updated driver from the Korg site, and then Windows did recognize the USB device, and it did show up as a Midi device on EZDrummer…..BUT the NanoPad pads produce no sound in EZDrummer./
Now Korg has software called Kontrol Editor which apparently you have to use to assign the drum sounds to the pads.
I downloaded it, and the first window that comes up is to select your device from a list, but the NanoPad (along with all the other devices) show as “not connected”
So, I have 2 questions:
1. Had anyone had success with using the Korg NanoPad or Korg NanoPad2 with EZDrummer 2 in Windows 10?
2. If not, can anyone recommend another pad controller that works well with EZDrummer2 in Windows 10?
Thanks in advance for anyone’s help or suggestions!
