Hello all

Just watched a YouTube Documentary done by a well known Drum Training studio sounds a bit like Drumyo featuring the very ill Phil Collins so sad to see how frail he is now all due to the years he’s been drumming amazingly underappreciated by many as a true Drumming pioneer in Prog Rock

As Homage to Phil would Toontrack ever do am EZ pack of his Iconic drums which sit laying on storage boxes

They had his Black Gretsch Concert Toms, kick, snares etc…. all set up, the sound was incredible

Plus other kits he has, like one he used for a Jazz album aswell

I think it would be an amazing way to celebrate such an iconic drummer, loved by so many well known drummers from all genres

Please, please, please – can you make this happen

Nick his son is so cool and just had Phil’s touch, bet he would be well up for it

There is a gated kit in SDX Hitmaker (see screenshot) which is on the money for what you are after. I have had success with both Gretsch and Premier kit versions of this. However I don’t think there is an EZX version of this one and certainly no EZX’s with Hugh Padgham as the Engineer that I can see. Not sure if this helps but certainly agree that an EZX similar to this would be very much appreciated by the drumming community (who don’t have SD3 or Hitmaker SDX).

Dell Precision 7730, i7 6 Core 2.6 GHz, 128GB RAM, 1TB SSD and 3 x 2TB SSD, Cubase Pro 13, SD3 plus a variety of SDX's and EZX's, Orchestral Percussion, EZBASS, RME BabyFace Pro FS and KRK V4 monitors. Modified Yamaha DTX900 triggering SD3.

Thank you for your Reply, Just had a look at the Hitmaker SDC, looks fantastic

I take it this is just a plugin for Superior Drummer!?

If I was to buy Superior Drummer, is this then an add-on for free, or is it a paid addon

Unfortunately you need SD3 and then have to separately purchase the Hitmaker SDX – works similarly to EZD3 which you need to purchase and then purchase separately any EZX’s for additional libraries. SD3 is a big investment that you may not need. For me as an e-drummer, the flexibility  in SD3 to control all drum sound parameters as well as adding additional instruments/mixer channels and routing to buses is awesome – if you look at my avatar you can see how many different triggers/instruments I can run in SD3. Check out SD3 thoroughly to make sure it is what you need.

Hi Mark,

the Hitmaker SDX is an expansion library for SD3. i.e. an add-on. There is a Bundle offer in the web shop now.
