EZDrummer Lite Question

Hi,
I got EZ Drummer Lite free with a Korg controller. It doesn’t seem to have much content though (I’ve installed the Cocktail EZX, but it only has BAIAO, SAMBA and FILLS groove sections). Some of the menu options are disabled, and not all the drums are enabled too. I’m not surprised by this (it was free, after all!), but I’m wondering if I can buy new EZX content for it, or if I’ll need the full EZ Drummer for that?
My second question is that the EZDrummer price seems to be the same for me as it was before I registered EZDrummer Lite. I thought there was a discount available for Lite users (the website and serial number card both suggest there is)? The price is showing as €119 whether I’m logged in or not, and I can’t see a way to get an upgrade price.

I just re-read the serial number card, and it says I can:

“upgrade to the full version of EZdrummer at a considerable discount”

It says I should go to upgrade.toontrack.com to find out how, but it just takes me to the ToonTrack home page.

If there is a discount available, then you will have a new customer!

Hey there,
I need your help!
I have EZ Drummer Lite version for 10€. I installed it and it worked, but yesterday I tried to use and there is a error message: “EZ Drummer can not find the sound files. Reinstall Ezdrummer or move the sounds to: The path to the sounds is not set.” I reinstalled it 3 times but it don’t work. What can I do?
I hope you can help me. The Internet can’t
PS: I use Cubase LE 5

Hello .I have from yesterday a “nanoPad ” .this i need to can dromming with my fingers “live”‘ to work faster the drumfils and yto have live feel to have that tempo changes with the guitarplaying …toi not use drummachine with mechanic rhythm…OK .

Is any setting to make the pads more sensitive ? Something like at laptop’s tuch sensitive pad .I most strike weri hard to have the velocity i need and to have a relative good timing .But because of hard the timing becom unshure ,i strike harder i think this little pad falling a part .
So i seartch everything to find a setting for sensivity .Is no problem with the PC ( Intel dualcore 2,8MHz Win7 ) or with the USB2 i see on windows Task Manager the CPU Usage is only 1-2% with M1 Le soft shynth .
The tuch scale +arpeg can play really fast ! Just the pads are “slow” .I try with two fingers to have more power with just 1/2 strikes /time …even so is not good.
This is a big problem .
I try with the mouse clicking on virtual keyboard oh M1Le is very fast !

Yesterday (11 11 2011) First i instal and try with othert PC with XP system Asus 3000+ and that was the first “speed”sensivity problem ,after today i instal to other PC INTEL DualCore w/Win7…but the problem is the same with the tuchsensitive pads.

I hope with EZDrummer maybe working BUT is no way downloading , is nowhere …at KORG site under ” Products” is no “‘Download ”, i see ”Download” just at Suport /Upgrade popup window .
Other page i see EZ Drummer and Toontrack but is not the ”Lite” version …. , if i try tro login and give all kinde of data .for Autetification ..at a moment ask me for “product serial” ..i read on cover of nanoPad is not good i copy the PIN number …not good…other i have no .So i think that are downloads for people who have the instalation CD and this have the Serial.I have no any CD so no Serial number .
For ”Ezdrummer lite” i see just a promo text .

so I have EZDrummer lite, and I have to up grade? for the full EZDrummer, and then I can get the midi packs for EZDrummer.
My system is a pc and it has:
Windows 7 Home Premium
System type 64-BIT OS
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Cpr T6400 @ 2.00GHz 2.00 GHz
Installed Memory (RAM) 4.00 GB

you should have been supplied with an EZdrummer Lite serial inside the box or otherwise, when purchasing your Korg product. It typically is 20 digits long and starts ‘EZxx-‘. If you don’t then your package is incomplete.

Once registered you can download the package from your Toontrack user account.

@markiss, I’m not sure I understand the question, but yes, though not a technical requirement, you won’t get your money’s worth from the MIDI packs if you use them with EZdrummer Lite.

Sorry I didn’t make myself clear….so I get the ez up grade. And with a mini packs can I use any drums out of the different many packs, to make my own kit with EZ Drummer

MIDI packs are just MIDI grooves, not sounds and you can not mix drums from different EZdrummer expansions within a single EZdrummer instance.

Hi,

Toontrack solo is Toontrack’s free host to run EZdrummer or other Toontrack plugins.
Toontrack MIDI can be used with EZdrummer or Superior 2 and a great deal of 3rd party MIDI can as well.
