I’ve the demo version of EZDrummer on my Mac Mini connected via USB to a KAT KT2 kit. It’s not triggering anything, even though in MIDI settings it can see the KT2 and is enabled.
Anyone got this combo working?
i have the same issue but with PC. try every setting possible with no luck,
when defining MIDI device the program recognize “KMC KT2” device, but it would not trigger any sound. also tried every channel .

I literally have this exact problem with my KAT KT2 device occasionally, its a bug in windows 10 (not sure about OSX). Download and run MIDI-OX ( http://www.midiox.com/ ). If for some strange reason people are having this issue with OSX, use https://www.snoize.com/MIDIMonitor/
Run Midi OX, go to options, Midi Devices. in the Midi inputs section you should see KMT KT2. Click on it and it should show up in the port map objects
on the lower right. Click ok. Now play all of your pads and you should see all of the midi fly through the output monitor. Your KAT KT2 midi output data is
now reset. Have Fun!
Oh super important. when testing the midi data make sure your DAW isnt running or any VST’s.
