I am having the same issue.

I loaded up Logic after a few months of ez drummer working fine. Now logic says plugin unavailable and on the product manager it says AU not installed. I click to download that section again and the same thing keeps happening

In the installer for the latest software update, click the Customize button (in the “Installation Type” step) and make sure that the checkbox for the AU is ticked there.

    Hi,

I would re-download the latest update (currently 2.2.1) and run it, then launch Logic again.

If this does not work, please see this FAQ for clearing the AU cache, then reboot the computer and Launch Logic:

I have the same issue but when I run the installer, the checkbox for the AU doesn’t even show…

That usually means that you are not using the latest software update but probably the full product installer (which has a lower version).
