The EZX that ships with EZdrummer is the Cocktail EZX. See the product page for details.

Cocktail came on my disc, but what I was asking about was: A drumkit from hell came in my box. Inside that case was the EZdrummer jacket.

That leads me to believe that EZdrummer is supposed to come with an EZX like this. Why else would it need this big case?

You will need to contact your reseller as the only ‘official’ EZX that ships with EZdrummer is the cocktail kit. Why you were shipped a DFH EZX is a question best answered by the seller.

Okay, strange. So why does the EZdrummer case fit a full-size dvd case while the DVD comes in this little sleeve?

Yeah they do get a bit skimpy but i guess we all save.

I’m trying to understand this last post’s meaning… EZdrummer is a core product for one of our line. As such it comes in a packaging that makes it visible on the (retailers’) shelves. EZX-s come in a more (retailers’) shelves friendly packaging. That’s all there is to it 🙂

Hmm. Well I guess it’s meant to come with just the CD jacket. Thanks for the answers!

Software publishers & manufacturers often package additional installation files together with base products as marketing for their upgrades
and to enable customers to upgrade more easily, (if purchased)…especially back in the days before high-speed internet.
But, to be clear, installation files are not licenses to use the upgrades or expansions.
Unless sold as a bundle, the expansions would still need to be purchased and registered separately.
