Hi
I’ve recently switched from using Cubase LE4 to Pro Tools M-Powered Essential V8.02.
EzDrummer worked fine with Cubase, but Pro Tools isn’t recognising it. I’m fairly new to home recording and can’t work out via the manual how to get the plug in set up in this version of Pro Tools so I can start dragging the samples across and edit them as normal.
Can anyone please help me with my problem?!
Cheers
Hi,
from the Pro Tools M-Powered Essential FAQ:
Q: Can I add any additional instrument plug-ins or effects to Pro Tools M-Powered Essential?
A: No, Pro Tools M-Powered Essential is limited to the included instruments and effects. If you wish to install any additional Digidesign or 3rd party plug-ins, you must purchase the full version of Pro Tools M-Powered.

John

Thanks very much John.
Guess I’ll have to upgrade then!
What’s the difference between the full version which is $300/£230 and the Educational version which is only £130? I’m on a very tight budget and a little annoyed I’ve got to pay more money to upgrade to use features that Cubase LE has in its most basic version!
Cheers, Andy
