Hello All
OK – so whilst Im reasonably proficient at making a racket on my Millenium -850 Edrum setup I am having issues with the EZD 3.0 software.
I have installed without issue and I have my MP3s playing as I drum along with the PC interpreting my triggered hits into new kit sounds which is exactly what I wanted.
When in the studio view I can switch between the room types and simply click through the different shell types and sizes for each pad and if i use the mouse to click the ‘trigger’ in question, the sound mapped to is also the same sound that I hear when I physically hit the pad on the drum kit.
However, this does not seem to be the case for the snare drum/pad. When in the studio view, if I select a different snare sound from the list and use the mouse to trigger the on-screen snare – i get the sound I would expect. If however, I hit the snare on my kit – regardless of the snare selected, I get a ‘default’ snare hit sound . This is really irksome as I can tune / adjust the sound as expected on all the other pads on my kit except the snare. Which sounds really bad when playing.
Can anyone suggest a fix such that the snare actually plays the sound I have selected on the EZDrummer interface?
Thanks in advance.
Guido
Scratch that… ive sorted it. Of the three volume controls on the drum module, my heaphone volume was half. MAster and Aux controls were at Max.
I simply cranked the phones volume up to full too … and the snares are now playing as expected. Fantastic!
