Got EZdrummer 2 dowload/installed it (using cubase 5) But I go to make a insturment track and try to select EZdrummer as a vst. And it says “ezdrummer…missing”
Looked online and tried alot I reinstalled it to my VST folder and same thing. I must have reinstalled it 5 times into different folders i.e VST, VST3, VST presets etc. Still nothing will work….with the exception of EZdrummer2 stand alone.
Anyone have a solution on this please help. I love toontrack and this is the only product I’ve had trouble with.
Hi,
are you perhaps only installing the 64-bit version when it is the 32-bit version you need for Cubase 5?

I am having this same issue with pro tools. I cannot locate ez drummer as an insert…
HELP
@daveydavis:
Please create a Stereo Instrument Track and then go to the ‘Instruments’ Inserts.
…and please post Support queries in the Support section.

fixed it. i needed the 32 bit version to work with pro tools although my computer is 64 bit thanks
I am also having problems. I installed Superior 64 bit, because my Windows is 64 bit. However I notice that my Cubase is only 32 bit. So should I have installed the 32 bit version instead?

Ok. So how do I check what bit my cubase has? Can I convert Cubase from 32 to 64 bit?

Checked there but no info. Anyway, I discovered that it is indeed 32 bit via task manager. I can’t load my Superior 64 bit in Cubase it seems. I have added the plugin info, updated, etc but it does not show up as an option under the VST instruments. Is this only because it is 64 bit?

If you’re using the 32-bit Cubase, you should be using the 32-bit S2.

If you’re using the 32-bit Cubase, you should be using the 32-bit S2.
Ok are there big differences and what are the pros/cons?
There is no difference in functionality.
However, if you use the 64-bit version of Cubase and S2 you would have access to all of your computer’s RAM and thus be able to load more S2 samples (layers, mic bleeds, etc.). Using 32-bit versions of Cubase and S2, even if you have 16 or 24GB (or more) of RAM on your computer, you’ll only access about 4GB.

I just installed Cubase 9 Elements, and it is not supporting 32-bit plugins anymore. However, I have the 64 bit versions for both EZ Drummer 2 and EZ Mix 2 installed as well, and it’s not recognizing them either. Any suggestions?

See this FAQ below for how to set the path to plugins in Cubase.
