Hi
(Apologies if this is dealt with elsewhere. I’ve had a ferret around, with no luck. I’m in a bit of a rush because the demo clock is counting down!)
I can use the standalone version of the EZd2 demo with no problem. It’s great.
But when I open it in Cubase, EZd2 crashes after about 20 seconds, and I see a “We’re sorry. EZdrummer has crashed. Crash dump file available…” message.
Initially, I thought it was a RAM shortage–the available RAM readout in Task Manager would gradually drop to zero, and then EZd2 would crash. Made sense.
So today I put in an extra 4 GB of RAM, bringing the total to 6 GB (I’m using 32-bit Windows 8.1, so only <4 GB can be addressed). The available RAM stays well above 1 GB, yet the demo still crashes.
Any ideas?
Cheers from Australia.
Make sure that you are using the latest version of EZdrummer 2 (version 2.11). In EZdrummer 2’s menu, go to “Check for Updates…” and ezdrummer will tell you what you need to update.

Thanks Henrik.
I hadn’t considered that, because I downloaded the demo only last weekend. I’ll give it a go from the standalone version.
