So I’ve been running EZ drummer on my HP spectre with absolutely no problems for about 2 years now and its been absolutely fine.
the laptop has 16gb of RAM, I’m using it with Reaper and up until now I’ve had no problems at all with it.
last week the performance of my laptop slowed massively, I don’t know why, I tried everything i could do fix the issue and i was left with no other option but to essentially do a factory reset on the laptop to get it running right again. The laptop is now running perfectly again and I’ve reinstalled all my programs with no issues – with the exception of EZD2.
I’ve run all the updates, done the product manger both on an offline, de-authorised the products then and reinstalled them fresh, tried both 32 and 64 bit versions independently . . . etc etc etc the list goes on and regardless of what I do or search i’m given this message the second I try to open EZD2 – why?!?!?!
I’m completely stumped – I’ve clean the disks, I’ve defragged the computer I’ve run all the updates to windows, I’ve checked the antivirus isn’t causing an issue, I’ve searched the file on the computer to see if there are duplicate files
what the F*** is wrong?!???”
Hi,
can you please ZIP that dump file and attach it to a post here?

Hi John,
please see attached. looking forward to getting this sorted.
many thanks

Hi John,
any news? have you had a chance to look over the crash dump file?
Kind regards
Jay
The crash seems to be in a file called L6PodHd2Asio_OnInterposer_x64.dll, which sounds like a driver for a Line6 Pod HD. Try updating the drivers for that device and see if the problem goes away.
