I know there’s a solution for this, I just don’t know what it is.
In EZD2 I started recording (ProTools 2018 1.1) in the Dream Pop kit and want to change to the HipHop kit however when I change to the HipHop kit it automatically changes back to the Dream Pop kit.
I installed the updates and still automatically changes back to the Dream Pop kit.
How do I make the change permanent?
Thanks in advance…

EDIT: Sorry, I didn’t notice this was in the EDrum forum, and you’re probably talking about triggering a change of kits from your drum module. If so, disregard my reply.
How are you changing to the hiphop kit? You can’t just change it in the EZD2 interface halfway through a song, and apply a different kit to selected patterns (it would be awesome if you could). Instead, you’d need to check the option to ‘allow midi program change’ in the midi events tab. Then you’d need to work out how to get your DAW to send the correct midi ‘bank select’ and ‘program change’ triggers. However, I think there will be a delay as the new kit is loaded, so it probably isn’t practical.
Your other options are to export the audio into your DAW, or run two instance of the plugin on different tracks in your DAW.
