you tell me the difference between Comp, Amb and Amb mono?

Comp is the amb mix ran through a compressor.

The Amb is the room ambient mics.

Amb mono is a mono room ambient mic.

why would you bump AMB VS AMB  MONO?

    What do you mean “bump”?

Give both the channels a listen. Do you like how they sound? What are they adding to the mix? Do that fit the song your working on? Do you need them at all in the mix? Maybe automate them to push up on the choruses but pull them back on the verses.

I have been trying out various plugins on the ezd audio tracks. Putting something like the Waves HComp on the Drum Aux doesnt seem to add much to the sound. Also make the OH super ringy. Have you found it is best to not try processing the ezd tracks since ezd are sort of unique (compressed and processed already)

There’s not a yes or no answer. It depends on the song and the feel.

Personally, almost never compress drum channels directly, unless they were recorded terribly. They I might. I will eq individual channels but apply parallel compression for drums (Google parallel compression).
