I have used Ez Drummer and Superior Drummer 2 for years now, I love the products. But recently I have not been able to to get it to respond to input from my controller or playback any of the recording I have previously done. I am on Mac (OS 12.6) and my DAW is Logic Pro X (10.7.6). I have tried deleting the cache and the components with no luck. In the solo app I am able to select my midi controller and play to my hearts content, but I have yet to find a way to do so in plugins. Im sure this is something simple that I am over looking.
Thanks in advance for the assistance
Same issue here. MacOS 12.7.2. Logic 10.7.9. Superior Drummer 2. I’m recalling some older sessions and no instance of SD2 will play back MIDI. Clicking on drums within the plugin window plays the sound, but the lack of playback makes the plugin useless. It sure would be great to upgrade to SD3, but Toontrack won’t let us. Frustrating to say the least.
Toontrack… do you have any advice on this? If you won’t let people upgrade, could someone at least help us run the software we already bought from you?
Hi,
please try opening the Logic Plug-In manager, select the plug-in in the list and ‘Reset & Rescan’.

John
