I set up SOLO + EZ Lite running on a PC P4 3.4gHz / 2gigs RAM / XP SP3, to an Alesis USB Studio kit running the Trigger|iO unit.
I can see/hear/click-beat the drums on the PC, I can see that my triggers are all recognized properly by the Trigger|iO but the TRIG MIDI CHANNEL LED on the iO module does not light up and I am not getting the iO unit to trigger the EZ Lite.
In SOLO I have the MIDI Devices set to: USB Audio Device (the only option), and in Controller I have tried both Default and E-Drums in testing but I get zero recognition of signal from the Trigger|iO.
Kind of a drag when you see how easy it _should_ be to set them up on YouTube/elsewhere . . .
Anyone have this experience or have a walk-though on the Trigger|iO to EZ Drummer? I have contacted Alesis but it’s the weekend and all . . . I’d really like to get some sounds out of this investment!
So, it’s definitely something to do with the PC environment, what I don’t know, but I authorized on my Mac and EZDrummer/SOLO work fine.
I tried latest drivers for everything/sound card, etc. on the PC but it still wouldn’t properly recognize the Trigger|iO.
Mac took 3 minutes to set-up.
Apple’s always been good for that . . .
Now I need a Mac laptop that can run EZ/Superior!
