I’m getting the same issue. I use EZD 2 in Logic X on iMac and EZD2 flashes when you open the plug in. It only appears to happen on the image of the drum kit and not on other options such as the midi browser, and it doesn’t happen in standalone mode. It does not affect the performance of EZD 2 at all, it just seems that the drum image/animation is corrupt somehow.

This is a bug in OS X. We have reported this to Apple and we hope that they’ll fix it soon!

Hi. Hopefully this is the right place to ask you of something I thought was a piece of cake. I have bought an iMac 2012 i7 16 GB Ram. I want to transfer all my applications, soft synths, plugins etc. from my old iMac 2007, but since I had a bug on Safari I couldn’t transfer it via Time machine. I haven’t been able to transfer EZDrummer 2. When I load it in Logic Pro x, everything looked fine in a split of a second, but then it showed: “midi database error. Mismatch of versions between database and plugin. Make sure that you are using the latest installed plugin. If the problem persists, please contact Toontrack Support”. These days I am going to upgrade to Superior Drummer 3 simply because I am very happy to use your product. HELP… John-Erik Holtan. johnerikholtan@gmail.com

Hi. Can I upgrade to Superior Drummer 3 without having EZDrummer 2 on my new iMac, and have all that I had of EZD 2 on my old iMac along with Superior Drummer 3 (on my new iMac). Toontrack can see that I have bought EZD 2 years ago. johnerikholtan@gmail.com
