Hi folks,
I only just purchased EZ2 Drummer this week and so joined this forum today. I ran a search but could not see an answer to this question. And I also read the ‘Read Me’ notices. But (Moderators), please feel free to move this topic to a different thread category should you feel it has not been placed appropriately.
So my (very first!) question for you please :-
It says here that ToonTracks are having a big sale on at the moment :-
http://www.toontrack.com/ezdrummer-line/
But does anyone know when this sale will expire please?
Cheers,

Hi,
Can I RENAME the INSTALLERS (saved on my External HD)? Meaning will RENAMING them affect their functionality? I ask because they all have very long and (to me) meaningless and unhelpful) names.
eg “TT109_EZX_Latin_Percussion_MIDI_WIN_153” could be simplified to “Latin Perc. MIDI”.
This would make it easy for locating such installers in the future.
Ta,
Paul

I really don’t know if it would change the functionality or not. I just wouldn’t waste the time to do it even if it didn’t. Currently, the name is clearly there (as well as the version number which your renamed short version doesn’t account for) and if you have both zipped and unzipped versions saved somewhere, spending the time it would take to change the names would seem crazy to me. But that’s just me.
