I was told EZ Player would be able to convert Midi Programmed in Addictive drums to and other “Player” Format.
I current have a recording session with a band who used Addictive Drums to program their stuff. I am attempting to covert this session so it works in Steven Slate Drums (Kontact). I am able to play the midi grooves inside of EZ Player so I know the program is set up in my DAW correctly. But when I import the MIDI that the user provided me I get nothing.
I am able to load that MIDI file in Slate and it plays back, the only issue is that the hits are not the correct drum. I t was explained to me that EZ Player can fix this. Please tell me I didnt pay $50 for something thats not going to work 🙁
Thanks
Hi,
have you mounted the location of the AD MIDI and specified AD as the Input format In EZplayer Pro?
When this is done, you set the output wrapper to Slate. Preview and drag-and-drop to your host.
Don’t forget to download the latest EZplayer Pro update.
Best Regards,
John
