how about being the first to bring out a product [perhaps in the EZ MIX, or PRODUCER LINE ] that would aid the part of the recording industry that deals with trained voices in the classical, broadway, opera, etc. and orchestra, brass choirs, string ensembles, etc. and stage venues ? I come from a background of over 47 years of studio ownership, recording some of the greatest voices in the world at some of the well known studios and live large stage productions, with a ton of the best hardware and rooms….. BUT, with everyone having a Home studio or the ability to ‘remote record’ on their laptop with their favorite DAW, there is a NEED for a quick fix to start with and then we can go on from there with our experience or background of years of knowledge. ALSO, it would help those just starting out to get a feel for and understanding of recording this part of the industry.
I have had to FIX so many badly recorded sessions by younger engineers who normally record rock, heavy metal, rap, etc…. which takes a certain skill set….. but is very different from trained voices and orchestras.
