So the first thing I wanted to do was check out the guitar tones and I have to say that I am very impressed by them all !
Disapointed in the actual lay out of it all though.
I have to ask what is the actual point in the right hand side showing the out board gear pedals etc ?
I laughed when I seen this as it looks very much like a toy… Out board gear on a shelves so small all you can see is the words EQ and compressor….
Ok so it might look cool to some but whats the point ?
I for one don’t buy a plug in because it looks “cool”
If its not doing anything whats the point in it ?
I and others were hoping in this upgrade that the window would be able to be made bigger so we could see the text better but no…..
Still small text and this time wasted space on the right side with the what I see as pointless out board gear pictures….
Only being able to see the first 7 and a half presets on the list with out scrolling down is not great in my book.
The text looks very squashed together….
Why not make it so we can make the window to what size we wish and there for making the text bigger ?
Anyways still sounds great and gets the job done but will we see any of what I have talked about sorted in a update ?
Ive seen it talked about a lot on various forums about the size of the window and the size of text so was this taken in to account or is there a reason for this not being bigger ?
Dev team any answers ?
Whats everyone else think ?

The 2 main questions I was hopeing for answers for that seen to have been overlooked in my first post was

I don’t think it would be a terrible idea in the future to add a “Graphical View” and “List View” toggle. List view would basically list the chain of effects involved. Very similarly to EZmix 1. A very cool, and very Toontracky idea, is, add a little notebook graphic with the list of gear. Put it on a little table, or better yet, some kind of bulletin board or dry erase board agenda thing to the left of the EZmix poster and right above the Leslie cab. The EZmix poster could easily be moved a little to the right as well, with the edge landing just behind the guitar cabinet. Click on the agenda board, and up pops a text list of the effects chain. You can even use a cool handwritten type of font if you wanna still make it organic like TT graphics usually are. Just an idea I felt like throwing out there.

I don’t disagree with your opinion that the text is relatively small, especially at high bit depth. I am unsure how hiding the gear on the right hand side would allow either the text to be bigger, or to show more presets, however, since that would extend the screen estate laterally, for what is essentially a list view paradigm.
That said I have no problem with people having the option, and would likely make use of an expanded view with more columns myself, at times. But I think the reason you got possibly mixed feedback for your idea, is that IMHO, it is not a solution for the problem of text size or overall readability.
As to the size of the (fixed) window, I think you would possibly find as many people not wanting a large window covering their entire laptop screen as they try to work on an arrangement in their DAW. I would be one of them. Size options may happen in the future, but understand that there is no such thing as ‘one-size-fits(suits)all’. YMMV 😉
