EZ Keys2 Melody

Hey guys! I tried the demo for EZKeys 2 and loved it! I plan on getting it, but am wondering if it has a certain feature.  Can you input your melody and it gives you a really professional styled midi. In whatever style you want. As long as you have the packs and what not. Like, drag a basic melody midi in and select big band jazz for example. And it gives you a cool jazz version of your melody.

and thank you for your interest in EZkeys 2.

EZkeys 2 is very versatile but that particular feature; feeding EZkeys 2 an input melody and getting a version of melody and chords in desired style isn’t exactly how it works.
If you input a melody, EZkeys 2 will analyse it and suggest chords to it. Then you can use the ‘Replace MIDI’ function to use pre-made MIDI, Toontrack or your own, to apply that groove/feel and playing style to your input melody block. The melody itself will mostly likely not be unaffected by the ‘Replace MIDI’, so you would keep a block with the melody.

After (or before) that you can ‘Suggest Chords’ where EZkeys 2 looks at your Chords and Suggest variations depending on the Style selected. Suggested and Replaced Chords can easily be tweaked in the Grid Editor if you e.g. think that everything feels great except a couple of notes – just edit them in the Grid.
