Hi there. I re-installed my old version of EZD1. Then deleted it and tried to install newer version from website. Now when I try to install the D/L version, I get ‘error 1309’. When I retry, nothing happens. Can only cancel install.
    Please Help!

    from https://www.toontrack.com/faq/im-getting-error-1308-1309-when-installing-on-pc/

“If you receive an error message containing ‘Error 1309′,
this is because you are attempting to run the installer without extracting the downloaded zip archive.
Please right click the downloaded zip file and choose ‘Extract all’.
We strongly recommend using Windows’ built in extraction tool for this.
Please remember to check for updates once you have run the main installer.”

    Thanks for the reply.
I remeber now from last time! The only other issue is that the only file I can use is Win installer. When I right click, it does not give me the option to extract??
Ok. Think I D/L 32 bit not 64. How can I change that? The update only give me 1 option??

if Windows does not give you an ‘extract’ option by default,
perhaps you can extract with another tool, like WinZip or 7zip…they may have a free trial version available.
what version of Windows are you using?
