EZ Drummer Transport Controls

I got the right click “midi learn function” what I am trying to do is – use a Keyboard Midi Controller – I want to use the KEYS – a White keys/Black key (dont care) to control the Stop and Play and Record and Loop Functions of EZD 2 with a Midi Controller I have tried a M-Audio Oxygen 25 and a Korg Nanopad and a Korg Nanokey. I right click the play button and select a Key ( lets say middle C and all that happens is that drum sound is actived, i have tried all keys and octaves ) and the highlighted Midi Learn Function does not respond.

Just wanna tap a A Ivory and have it activate Play- tap a Ivory and have it activate Stop – Tap A Ivory and have it activate the Record Function …etc etc etc
