EZ Drummer standalone & MTC

I want to impliment a really straightforward setup.

I own a Tascam DP-24SD digital portastudio.  I also own a Philip Rees TS1 MIDI Tape Sync Unit.

I want to stripe a channel of MIDI sync data onto the portastudio that I can then use to run

EZ Drummer in standalone mode.  To impliment this setup, EZ Drummer will need to recognise MTC.

Will this work?

No, neither EZD3 nor S3 can sync to MTC in standalone.
