Hi
I’m really confused. I want to add more grooves to my EZ Drummer. Is this what the midi packs do or is it the expansion packs that do that? I can’t seem to find a clear answer and don’t want to waste money on getting the wrong thing. Please could you clarify?
Many thanks
Dave
Drum MIDI packs are just MIDI grooves.
EZXs contain a drum sound library as well as MIDI grooves.

So can i drag/import the midi pack into EZ Drummer and then it’s there in the grooves or do i use it in the DAW with EZ Drummer as an instrument? I’m still confused
Once installed, the drum MIDI packs show in the EZD3 Grooves browser.
I’m not sure I follow what you are saying in the second part of your question. EZD3 can be used as a standalone or loaded in a DAW as a virtual instrument. The grooves appear in the EZD3 Grooves Browser on both (standalone and in DAW instrument version).
