Hi,
I tried to search this out, but couldn’t come up with anything.
I am trying to use the step sequencer in FL Studio 9 to make drum tracks from scratch with EZ Drummer. I can get the VSTi loaded into FL and all that without a problem. I can program the individual drums with the piano roll.
But I don’t want to use the piano roll. I like the grid/stepper and want to use that.
I want each of the drums in the kit to be on a separate channel in the grid so i can easily build the loops.
The only thing I can think of would be to run multiple instances of the plugin, but thats not really practical..or possible (cpu).
Any suggestions or ideas would be great!
Hi,
I didn’t have EZdrummer installed on my FL 9 PE Win 7 partition but I am sure the attached Template should open OK and do what you want it to.
I have included some instructions in the Notepad.

As an edit to my last post:
When changing patterns in the step sequencer( ex. 1, 2, 3, etc.,) the plugin just plays the same drum sound for each channel.
For Example; I have a closed hihat progammed on pattern 1 (Not midi groove, but programmed by hand). When I switch to pattern 2 and try to program anything else (kick, snare, etc.,) It just plays the hihat sound for everything.
I made sure the outputs were set to multi-out in the mixer on EZ drummer. Im not sure what Im doing wrong?
