Other VST do not have this lock on their icon.

    Hi,

I am not familiar with ACID Pro but I would check for settings that has to do with ‘releasing the audio driver’, ‘plug-in napping’ or something similar. You don’t want the host to save up on power resources by releasing the audio driver or putting the plug-ins “to sleep”. Normally, having MIDI on the host track and playing it back should remove that warning and the plug-in should produce sound.

    Thank you for your answer.

I have checked the manual for solution.

I have found these point sounds similar to your advice.

Or may these can related to my problem.

Earlier I have used EZ Drummer 1.14 with former ACID vesion without problem.

However it is not relevant to use earlier versions 😀

    Hi,

‘Enable multi-threaded soft synth playback’ shouldn’t make any difference in this matter but ‘Enable Real-Time MIDI’ could.

Which audio interface and driver are you using?

    Line6 UX2

    It works well with ACID.

It works well with EZ Drummer in standalone mode.

When ACID is running, I can’t set audio device to ASIO UX2 in EZ drummer.

    I get this warning:

MAGIX confirmed that the problem is on their side, and may they will release an update that will probably solve this problem.

I hope it will as they promised.

On the other hand I have downloaded Reaper (and bought EZ Drummer) and EZD3 works absolutely good with it.

So maybe after the trial period of Reaper will expired, I will buy it…

It is easy to use it (in the point of view of EZD and midi editing), so maybe I will use Reaper to make drum tracks.
