Hi.
Does the Trial has full functionality as the full version?
I have downloaded the Trial it works in standalone mode but it not works as VST in my DAW.
That would be my main use of it, so it would be fine to know may the full version work well, or not…
When I open a midi track in my DAW and insert EZD3 as a soft synth EZ has a lock on its icon in the plugin list.
Other plugins don’t do it, they did not get the lock on their icon…
Here is the icon zoomed from the scrshoot of the previous post which is in appears in my DAW.
Other VST do not have this lock on their icon.
I have cut out the message from the scrshoot of the previous post appeared in the EZ Drummer.
Hi,
I am not familiar with ACID Pro but I would check for settings that has to do with ‘releasing the audio driver’, ‘plug-in napping’ or something similar. You don’t want the host to save up on power resources by releasing the audio driver or putting the plug-ins “to sleep”. Normally, having MIDI on the host track and playing it back should remove that warning and the plug-in should produce sound.

John

Thanked by: jcksn82chrvlThank you for your answer.
I have checked the manual for solution.
I have found these point sounds similar to your advice.
Or may these can related to my problem.
Earlier I have used EZ Drummer 1.14 with former ACID vesion without problem.
However it is not relevant to use earlier versions 😀
Hi,
‘Enable multi-threaded soft synth playback’ shouldn’t make any difference in this matter but ‘Enable Real-Time MIDI’ could.
Which audio interface and driver are you using?

John
