EZ Drummer 3 Core Library Installation Not Completing

I’m getting a similar problem to what others described in another thread from some time ago, dealing with problems downloading the Death and Darkness SDX.

To wit: the 15GB EZ Drummer 3 Core Library download works fine until 14.9GBs have been downloaded, and then it cycles endlessly between “downloading” and “verifying”, and it never completes.  I’ve tried deleting and starting over a couple of times, as well as pausing and coming back to it later.

Any suggestions?  I’m on a 2012 i7 Mac Mini running High Sierra 10.13.4.
