I posted this to the Help forum before seeing the pre-sales forum and it’s more of a pre-sales question.
I just watched the EZD3 livestream from Friday and was curious about the Bandmate feature which uses midi files to build/augment grooves using AI (kinda difficult to explain…go watch the video). In the video it was stated the algorithm uses existing MIDI on your system as the source for these grooves. I was curious if it only uses the Toontrack branded midi packs or also uses all MIDI In the User MIDI section as well.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Hi,
Bandmate doesn’t read what’s in the User MIDI folder. But if you drag MIDI from your User MIDI folder into Bandmate, a local User MIDI folder gets created specifically for Bandmate.
Thanks for the quick reply. But it will automatically use the Toontrack MIDI packs, correct? Or must all MIDI be dropped into bandmate?
