The only brush swirls out of any of those libraries is the Vintage Rock EZX. There is a MIDI folder for that EZX that had 3 swirls (short, medium, and long) you can use for programming. Very limited but there.

More articulations and MIDI for brush swirls are available in the Big Band EZX (the best sounding brush kit in my opinion).

The Big Band EZX is included in the DECADES OF EXPERIENCE with all drum kits and Midi files?

The drums from the EZX are taken from the SDX session but the EZX are premixed sounds and the MIDI is unique for the EZX.

Thanks, Scott,  and the BIG BAND GROOVES are also additional Midi tracks, which work with both extensions?

Correct. Each (SDX, EZX, MIDI pack) as unique MIDI and can be used with any standard Toontrack drum kit library (not, say, the Latin Percussion EZX or the Orchestra SDX for obvious reasons).

We have the Superior Drummer 3 and are looking for those 120 beat brush swirls, that we can hear in the demo of Big Band EZX. We have learned, hat EZX is for Easy Drummer. So we are unsure what to buy. What would you advise?

I would advise using the Show Web Shop MIDI in the Browser and search for grooves/libraries that offer “Swirls” and see what Toontrack had on offer. I’m not sure off hands which libraries contain Swirl grooves. See the link below I how to use the Show Webshop MIDI S3.

I stumbled across some brushes loops and samples that are all .aiff files. When I convert them to midi or drag them into Studio One, the brush sounds disappears. Is there a way to preserve that sound and get it into Studio One? And, obviously, I can’t drag an .aiff file into EZ Drummer 2, as ut is expecting a MIDI file.

You should be able to import audio files (.aif) directly onto an audio track in Studio One.

Not sure what you mean by converting an .aif audio file into MIDI. Can you be more specific about what you’re doing?
