    Have anybody experienced the installer simply not running…?? Brand new iMac Retina 5k, processor 3,5GHz Core i5. 32Gb RAM – 3TB HD.

    EZ Drummer won’t run its installer. Download made without any problem…but…installation, simply does not work. Very frustrating!!!Confused

    Hi,

    do you get any kind of error message when starting the Installer? You can mount the image, right?
    I am also on 10.10.2 on my MBP and the installer runs fine here. Do you have any kind of localization on your system?

    As Scott pointed out, making sure you have run the latest update is a must and then that you insert it on a Stereo Instrument Track, not Mono.

    Go into “My Account” > “My Products” > “EZDrummer 2” and you should see an Updates Tab, download the updates.

    I had the same problem in 10.10.2 (Yosemite). Here’s what I did: Open EZDrummer 2; Go up top to Settings; Click Audio/Midi Setup;
    MAKE SURE YOUR PLUG IN WHATEVER USB MIDI CONTROLLER YOU ARE USING TO TRIGGER THE SOUNDS.
    Make these Selections: Device type: CORE Audio; Output Device (Your DAW Card connected to your computer; Buffer size 256;
    Out Channels: Click Multi Out; then select: Output 1 – Output 2; Output 1 – Output 2; Output 1 – Output 2 (for all 3 L-R Channel Outputs)
    CLICK MIDI DEVICE: Select your MIDI Controller (check the box)
    Go to MIDI Channel: Select MIDI Channel 1.
    Open a new session in Pro Tools; Go to Track; Create a new track; Select Stereo Instrumental Track
    Select the Instrumental Track; then Track Enable (click the record track function.
    Move across to inserts A-E in Pro Tools; Click the first tab (top tab)
    Scroll to instrument in the tab, click instrument, scroll down and Whoop There it is: EZ Drummer 2.
    Hit your controller and you will hear the drums and see them move.
    I am enjoying it right now, I just bought it last night. Let me know how you make out with this.

    Hello, I have a similiar machine (mid 2015 iMac 27 5k, 3.3

    I installed ezdrummer 2 and it worked for a hot minute, but then as I was installing the expansions, one of them gave me a warning that it could not install because my ezdrummer was missing files and to reinstall the aEZD2 application.

    So i uninstalled EZD2 using the uninstaller, and then attempted to reinstall it, but now the installation runs and completes and says that it has added a Toontrack folder to my applications, but there in no Toontrack sub folder in applications and no EZD icon to launch the program?

    How can I fix this?
