I didn’t see this posted anywhere on the sales page, but can you adjust the tunings for EZ Bass? Or is it just as simple as dragging notes to the desired pitch, and the bass tuning isn’t really an issue? I imagine the sampled tones would want to be sampled at the lower pitches, or else taking a standard “drop D” tuning and dragging it down a few steps would sound pretty unnatural (similar to just tuning a note in a DAW, for instance).
Thanks
Hey nmoney,
The instrument in the bass tab is always tuned in fourths, and the available pitches go from A0 (a fourth below drop D on a real bass) and E4 (way up on the first string). EZbass does not produce sounds outside of that range, and all the sounds in that range sound “natural”, i.e. not pitch shifted.
Hope that answers your question!

Thanked by: nmoneySo if I tune to drop G I’m out of luck with EZBass? Bum out! Seems like an awesome product.
Well…Thats the sad reality I just faced after purchasing and doing a little programming. NO LOW G………Im up for any suggestions
Nah. It’s there… about 1/2 way down the Production Description Page.
“Both basses go as low as A0.”
How about tuning up 2 half steps. I tried that and it did nothing to the bass. In other words I am playing with a guitar in C# so I want my low string to tune that way to make things ez. Only it doesn’t seem as ez as I would like. How do you actually tune the bass or is the drop down menu on the left of my screen not working? I hope I am just having a Dah moment.
